What You Can Find Here
WeatherArchive summarises observed daily weather for 30 major cities using the free Open-Meteo Historical Weather API, which is built on ECMWF ERA5 reanalysis and reaches back to January 1940. Each city page covers the most recent 12 months available (the archive runs a few days behind today) and is refreshed once a day.
Pick a city below to see its highest and lowest temperatures of the past year, average daily high, total precipitation, a 90-day temperature trend and a month-by-month table of average highs, lows and rainfall. Temperatures are in degrees Celsius and precipitation in millimetres. See the FAQ for how reanalysis data is produced and how accurate it is, or read the blog on climate records and extreme weather.
