About WeatherArchive

WeatherArchive presents observed daily weather for 30 major cities worldwide. All figures come from the Open-Meteo Historical Weather API, whose archive is based on ECMWF ERA5 reanalysis and runs from January 1940 to a few days before today.

Each city page summarises the latest 12 months for the reanalysis grid cell nearest the city coordinates, so values can differ slightly from a single airport weather station. Temperatures are shown in degrees Celsius and precipitation in millimetres; data is cached and refreshed daily.
